Conejo Church has sent mission teams to Togo, Haiti, Uganda, Kenya, Ukraine, Nepal and Mexico. Trips are announced on Sunday mornings and in the Mosaic Groups.
Conejo Church is very active in serving others and meeting needs. We have regular service projects with our local partners. We also put our faith into action by meeting current needs within our church and also helping with needs we hear about all over the county.
Here are a few of our local partners
ACTION pulls off about 500 community service projects in Ventura County each year, serving those most in need. They also do the Community Christmas Shoppes (free toy stores and prayer for low-income families) and Serve Day each June (2000 volunteers out on one day). They are all about local mission work.
This is a transitional living center for moms with kids, helping them stay off the street and rebuild their lives. We currently lead a Bible study there weekly and our church has done a few beautification projects for them. We plan to install a prayer garden there next year and also adopt a room.
SOS is a homeless outreach, a large feeding program, and a weekly Bible study for the “residentially challenged” in Malibu. This ministry is run by Daniel and Hollie Packman, a couple who are part of Conejo Church.
James Storehouse provides resources, improves living conditions, and eases transitions for children in foster care and those aging out of foster care.
