New Birth
•The primary movement of the Kingdom of God expresses itself in newness of life. As citizens of the Kingdom, we recognize that new birth is both intrinsic and inevitable, and are therefore committed to those activities and creative rhythms that invite and reproduce the life of God in our midst. (Gen. 1:28(b) ESV)

Transforming Grace
• Grace is the means through which we experience & extend God’s rescue & transformation. Through authentic relationship with God & one another, we nurture safe community, healthy identity, continual healing, diversity & freedom. (Matt. 11:28 MSG)
Incarnational Community
• Our life in Christ is established and perpetuated in missional community with Him and His creation. Living interdependently with God and others we adopt the heart and behavior of missionaries, engaging our world in creative and catalytic expressions of the gospel message. (John 1:14 MSG)

Apostolic Sending
• Our values are meaningless if they do not find expression in our lives. We are “sent ones”—personally and collectively engaged in reaching our communities and nations with the message of Christ—extending beyond comfortable contexts to new arenas. This mission is the primary lens through which we see and interact with God and His creation. (John 17:18 MSG)
Conejo Church Vision
Conejo Church exists to turn brokenhearted people into whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ. (Ps. 147:3 ESV)

Spiritual Formation
The formation of the disciple is concerned with the heart, mind, body and soul. Our desires should compel us to become each day more Christ like.
o QUESTION: Today, how have I encountered Christ thru spiritual disciplines/practices?

Community
God designed us for community. Community is where the Gospel of Christ is shared, lived and proclaimed. We are the people of God.
o QUESTION: Today, how am I nurturing the relationship with those God has placed in my life?
Mission
Rather than say that the church has a mission; we should say that the mission has a church. Believers have a mission, and what we know as “church” is meant to organize us to do that mission. Relations, careers, family, neighborhoods and other spaces that make up our social networks give us all opportunity to be salt and light to those within proximity of our life.
o QUESTION: Today, where is God at work and how am I joining him?
